I applied online and got a call back from HR in IL a few days later. She wanted to set up a phone interview. I had to wait about a week for it. It was supposed to take an hour and a half but only took 20 min. Really easy questions: Do you like people, describe a situation where you had to choose who to help first, student or boss, stuff like that. I was just friendly and she immediately wanted to set me up for an in person interview. She interviews a bunch of people and then picks the top three to send in. She sent me an online assessment to do. It was dull. I had to wait over two weeks until someone was ready to interview me in person. She showed me around and everyone was really friendly. Some questions had to do with the situation they find themselves in right now; lay-offs, change of culture, etc. So she asked how I react to new co-workers/co-workers leaving, how I respond to students questions that seem stupid, etc. It's been a week now and I haven't heard back. I know I did well on the interview, but it's killing to not hear anything. tl;dr simple questions, nice atmosphere. Be nice and help students above all else.

I put in my application online and a recruiter called me within a week. They were really nice and made me even more excited about the job. The recruiter told me I'd need to do an online assessment that seemed pretty tough and then they would move my resume forward. A week later, another recruiter called to set up an in-person interview with the Dean at the Devry campus in Rego Park. I scheduled it for the same week, but two days later, the same recruiter called to reschedule because the Dean wasn't available anymore, which I found unprofessional but agreed to. I went to the campus the next week, arrived half an hour early, but still had to wait an hour and a half. Then, another employee gave me a tour of the potential workspace, which seemed boring but I was still interested. They took me back to the waiting room, and I waited another 30 minutes. Finally, the Dean came out and took me to her office. She didn't seem to have prepared questions and just made them up as she went, even writing on the back of my resume, showing it wasn't a structured interview. I suspected she already had someone in mind, as she ended the interview by handing me her card and saying she was done with interviews, almost like she was dismissing me. It was a very unorganized and chaotic interview experience, unlike any I've had before.

I submitted my resume and then got an email from Talent Acquisition about an online assessment. The test had math word problems and some personality questions. After finishing the assessment, I got a call for a quick phone interview. During that call, they scheduled a face-to-face interview for two days later. The interview was about 40 minutes long. The next business day, I got an email saying they went with another candidate.
