The HR/Talent Acquisition team is quite clueless. You have an initial screening call, then the HR ghosts you for 3+ weeks. Suddenly, they reach out again to schedule rounds without providing details about the interview types. You're expected to interview without knowing the panel's expectations beyond the job description. After the interview, the HR doesn't bother to inform you about the outcome. I hope the organization addresses this to avoid wasting everyone's time and effort.

The interview process was long but very dynamic. I went through 6 rounds of interviews plus an online tech assessment. Everyone was really nice and happy to tell me what the company expected for the role and answer any questions I had. The online tech assessment was challenging and focused on software development.

Behavioral Technical

I recently went through the interview process for a Customer Success Manager role at DevRev. It was surprisingly transparent and communicative, with all interactions happening via email. The hiring team was consistently quick to respond and really helpful. The process involved about 6-7 interview rounds, but it didn't feel like too many. They were mainly interested in my background managing customers and how I've achieved results in past positions. It wasn't superficial; they wanted to deeply understand my approach to customer success. A key part of the role also requires some technical knowledge, so I'd advise brushing up on that if you're thinking of applying. It’s not a hardcore tech job, but having a technical base certainly helps. Overall, it was a really positive and respectful hiring experience, showing DevRev's commitment to a good process.
