Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Dev10.
Data Engineer
First, you gotta do some assessments, like personality and cognitive stuff. Then, there's a programming lesson where you gotta make a project. After that, it's a 1-on-1 interview, and then a group interview.
- Tell me about a time you had to learn something new.
Data Engineer
The hiring process had a few parts. First, there was an info session. Then, you had to do a career fit test to see how smart, motivated, and your personality type. The cognitive part was timed (12 mins), but the motivation and personality part wasn't. After that, there was a behavioral interview. Next, a web development assignment was given, and you had two weeks to finish it. Finally, a team interview happened.
- I unfortunately did not make it past step 2 of the selection process.
Data Engineer Manager
There were four rounds in total. First, a Wonderlick Test, then a behavioral interview, followed by a take home project, and finally a group interview. The recruiters are very upfront about the process because it's the same for everyone. The take home project isn't hard, it mainly seems to check if you're really interested. The group interview is meant to see how you work in a team.
- Can you share an instance where you handled a stressful situation?
