Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Deutsche Börse Group.
Business Systems Analyst
I recently had a really great and easy time interviewing for this job. The whole thing was super smooth and I had a good feeling about it.
- Can you describe your past experience?
- Could you share some details about the projects you've been involved in?
- What specific tools and software have you used?
Functional Analyst
So, there were two interviews. First, I met with a more senior person to see if I was a good general fit for the company, focusing on communication and professionalism rather than specific skills. If that went well, I moved on to the technical interview. Since it was for a junior role, the technical interview was pretty laid-back, and the interviewer seemed to have a relaxed style. I was a bit annoyed because, as usual, they weren't really prepared and couldn't clearly explain the actual job duties. I'd suggest having some really specific questions ready to figure out what you'd be doing because they won't offer the information.
- How many trees do you think there are in Germany?
Business Analyst
It was a really good experience, I got to meet a bunch of people from the team. They looked over my CV a lot. The interview was at their office and involved a lot of questions, very professional. They cared about why I chose certain paths and why I didn't choose others.
- Can you tell me about your previous experience?
- What drives you?
- What are your long-term career aspirations?
