I applied at the store, filled out an application, and gave it back the same day. The store manager said she would review my resume and application and call me for an interview. A week later, the store manager called me in for an interview at the mall. It felt casual, and she was very honest, even mentioning I could be a Key Holder within a year. She wanted a second opinion from another store manager at a different location. A week after that, I had a third interview at another location, which involved a long trip. The store manager there asked some unusual questions and thanked me. I didn't hear back for four weeks, even after calling multiple times. Finally, the first store manager called, saying the second manager didn't think I had enough experience. She asked me to call back in a few weeks for new training, as she really wanted me to work there and planned another interview with a different manager. I called every two weeks for a month, getting the same response. A month later, she still said the same thing but was waiting for an interview date with another manager and would call within a week. The date never came. It was a complete waste of time.

I applied online for a key holder position, but they said that was filled and offered me a sales associate role instead. I went in for an interview and was 30 minutes late because I missed my exit, but the interviewer was understanding. I believe I got the job after that conversation. I also had a quick phone interview with a district manager, which seems to be standard procedure. Both interviews had about 5 basic questions.

I was walking around downtown Philly on a Sunday and handed out my resume, mostly to boutiques but decided to try maternity stores too. I walked into Destination Maternity and the sales associate there told me her manager could talk to me. The manager came out and was super nice, she got interested in me and asked about my name, background, and resume. She then offered me an interview on the spot for the next day. The interview went well and she said I'd hear back in two days. I could tell the company culture was tight-knit and focused on helping expecting moms feel comfortable and fashionable.
