Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Designit.
Designer
The interview process was conducted very professionally. The interviewers were courteous and created a relaxed atmosphere. The questions were relevant to the job description and assessed my skills effectively. I appreciated the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the role and the company. While there were a few rounds, they were well-structured and focused on different aspects of the position, providing a comprehensive evaluation. Overall, the interview process seemed unbiased and I felt comfortable and engaged throughout.
- Can you present a case study of your previous work?
Junior Designer
The interview was good, and the interviewer seemed nice and professional. They said they'd follow up within a week. However, I ended up having to message them for an update after the deadline passed, and I never heard back. It's really not okay because they promised to get back to me, and even if they hadn't, you'd at least expect an email saying what they decided.
- Tell me a bit about yourself.
- What are your motivations for wanting to join Designit?
Senior Designer
About a week after I applied, a design director reached out to set up an interview. After that first chat, I was asked back for a second interview with another design director. I heard back with feedback about three weeks later, and then they sent me an offer.
- Tell me about your previous projects and your design process.
- Can you discuss your strengths and weaknesses professionally?
- What makes you want to work at Designit?
