& Process

It was a pretty simple process. I went in for an in-person interview that was about an hour long. They asked a bunch about my portfolio and work history, and then also threw in some personal questions about my life and goals, which was pretty cool. After that, we went back and forth over email with more questions, and then they had me do a 'trial' design project where I made 3 different designs for some of their events. That was probably the hardest part, but it would have been way tougher without solid design skills. From the interview, I got the vibe they have high expectations and want a lot from their designers.

It was pretty standard, although they were running late when I got there. The interviewer gave very short answers to my questions, which made things harder, especially since they mentioned it was a new role they were testing out and I was trying to understand my responsibilities. It felt like it wasn't really worth asking my own questions, and as a result, the interview felt unsatisfying and short.

It was a great interview process with good questions. They offered me the job right away. The interviewers were comfortable to talk to. The screening process was good and had good questions. It was an in-person interview where I met with the store manager and lead supervisor at their office. I was a bit nervous initially, but the whole process was comfortable, good, and easy.

The interview process went pretty smoothly. I'd suggest looking over their current product offerings and bringing that into the conversation to show you know your stuff. Make sure to have ideas ready for new products or how you can help the company grow, especially since they've been restructuring recently.
