Office Assistant
First, we'll review resumes to see if you have the right background. Then, we'll have a quick phone chat to check out your communication and organizing skills. If that goes well, we'll meet up in person to see how good you are with office software and juggling tasks. Finally, we'll do some reference checks to make sure you're reliable and a team player.
- Can you tell me about your background in doing office admin stuff?
- When you've got a lot of deadlines, how do you figure out what to do first?
- What office management software and tools do you know how to use well?
Executive Assistant
The interview process was comfortable and efficient. I met with the supervisor first which lasted approximately 20 minutes, then with two other colleagues for 10 minutes. All interviews were cordial and I was greeted with many smiles.
- Could you please tell us about yourself?
Department Assistant
I had a phone interview first, and then an in-person interview. Everyone in HR was super nice and helpful. The in-person interview had two interviewers, and I later learned they were in some kind of power struggle, so it's good to be aware that things aren't always as they seem during the interview. They said the vibe was positive, but after almost 2 years there, I have to say I disagree. I initially felt great about the job after the interview, but that feeling changed. This can differ by department.
- Can you describe a difficult situation you faced at work?
