Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Dentsu.
Director
It was a thorough interview process with key stakeholders and team members. There were 5 rounds which may seem like a lot but each round had a different purpose and offered clarity and insight. I expect the level may indicate the number of rounds.
- What are you most passionate about?
Director
I had one interview round with HR. They asked basic questions about my experience, visa status, timelines, and compensation. The HR person also described the interview process. After that, there was complete silence for over 1.5 months, even after I followed up multiple times. It's disappointing because I had a similar experience with another recruiter from the same company in Singapore. The people involved were unpleasant, incompetent, and unprofessional. I would advise others to avoid dentsu.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
Senior Director
The interview process included an HR screening call, a hiring manager call, and then several calls with both the team and cross-functional leads. There were a total of 5 rounds. After the 5 rounds, there was no further communication via call or email. While the team was pleasant, an update after 5 rounds would have been appreciated.
- Can you explain your motivation for pursuing this position?
