Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Dentsu.
Analyst
The interview process included an online assessment covering graphs and quantitative reasoning, followed by a group discussion. Then, there was a technical interview and a managerial interview, which I unfortunately didn't pass. Finally, there was an HR interview, though I wasn't informed about my rejection from the managerial round. Even when I tried to contact HR, there was no response.
- Could you explain the K-means algorithm and then provide a code implementation for it?
Senior Analyst
The interview process involved an online meeting. I had two interviews with company managers. They presented the company and the role, then evaluated my previous work experiences. I had to complete two business cases. We discussed how my profile fit the role, and they asked about my motivations, dreams, and interest in the company and the position.
- Tell me about your previous experiences.
Analyst
The interview followed a more conventional format, including some psychological/behavioral tests and more conventional HR questions about benefits (meal vouchers, food vouchers, educational assistance, health plan, and dental plan). For managerial positions, more area-specific tests are applied.
- What is your experience with tools?
- What is your know-how in the area?
- Do you have questions about the benefits (meal vouchers, food vouchers, educational assistance, health plan, and dental plan)?
