Project Manager
My recruiter was late for the screening call, which was a virtual call. The questions were very specific case-study questions for the role, and there were only 10 minutes, so no time for questions, it felt really one-sided. She said I was a great fit and would send me an NDA for the next round. The next day, I got a decline email thanking me for coming into the office and meeting the team. I think I dodged a bullet.
- How would you measure KPIs for a sales event and report its success or failure to key stakeholders?
Project Manager
First, I got a call to set up an in-person interview, which was later confirmed by email. The interview itself was about an hour long and involved a chat with two people from the team, a manager and a project coordinator. We talked about the job duties and how my background fit. The office looked really modern and clean, and people seemed happy there.
- What are your biggest strengths and how would they be useful for this job?
Project Manager
For this PM contract role, the process included an on-site interview before meeting the client and hiring manager. I had a panel interview where I was asked standard PM questions. Usually, recruiters for contract roles are quick to submit candidates, and a recruiter screen is easy. However, these recruiters are thorough, ensuring a professional fit and decent people skills.
- What do you consider the most crucial skill for a Project Manager?
- Could you share some information about yourself?
- What motivates your interest in working for Denali?
