HR internal recruiter got in touch. Had a phone call with them, then a face-to-face meeting with the manager. HR called me right after to say they were offering me the job. A few tests (personality + IQ type), then review of the contract, and it was all done.

I got the job in Sydney, Australia through an online ad. After a quick phone chat, I had a 1:1 with the recruiter, who then summarized me for the employer. A few days later, I interviewed with the hiring manager and learned about the company. Although there were other candidates, I wasn't a sure thing because I only had an engineering science degree and was young. A week and a half after that, I was invited for a second interview with the manager, department head, and another employee, as the initial candidates didn't do well on their psychometric tests. I took a 4-hour psychometric test, which gave them a detailed report on my personality, IQ, and how to manage me. They offered the job to the other candidate who had 5 years of experience, but because my scores were so high and I was close to finishing my engineering degree, they created a similar role and offered it to me. I started 3 weeks later. Later, when I moved to the US, my CEO and department manager referred me, leading to a phone interview with my current manager. They then brought me over for a week to check out the office and find housing, and I signed the contract a few months later.

After applying online, I first had a phone interview that lasted about 20 to 30 minutes. After that, I got an in person, on site interview. It was about an hour and a half long and included a tour of the facilities, meeting other engineers, and seeing the place.
