First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Dematic.
Project Manager
I had a phone interview with a recruiter, then a panel interview with managers. The managers were late and spent the first 5 minutes looking at my resume. One of them said they couldn't see how my experience fit the role, which felt unprofessional and like a waste of my time.
- You started at Dematic as a project manager in the 1990s, correct? How has the company changed since then?
Project Manager
Two video calls took place. Informative but a lot of standard questions from the HR representatives. The supervisor could describe the job profile quite well. Future tasks were discussed. The resume was reviewed. Overall, a rather positive impression.
- Why do you think you are particularly suited for this position.
Project Manager
It was a panel interview with the hiring manager and some of the team. The team was really awesome, and I felt super at ease. It honestly felt more like a casual chat than a typical interview with those standard behavioral questions. I was thrilled when I got the offer, but I have to admit, I had some other things going on at the time and ended up turning it down. I've totally regretted that decision since. I really think this is a great company with some seriously talented and experienced people. You'd definitely work hard, but it's the kind of place you could see yourself staying for a long time. I wish I could go back and change my mind.
- Were your projects typically focused on a single major initiative, or did you manage multiple projects concurrently?
