It wasn't too tough, just be genuine. It's basically a standard corporate role, so everything else should fall into place. If you get flustered, don't stop yourself from continuing to answer. There will likely be about two or three interview stages. You'll meet with the leads first, then the manager, and finally the senior manager.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- What is your educational background?
- What is your understanding of the Job Description?
QA/QC Engineer
So there were 3 rounds in total. First was a telephonic round with HR where we talked about my background, my past experience, what I was looking for in terms of salary, and generally what I've done as an audio engineer. Then there was a technical round where they hit me with some basic sound engineering questions. Like, they asked about XLR cable points, details on condenser mics, what FPS we usually use for dubbing, the Nyquist theorem, and how bit depth and dynamic range are related. Finally, the last round was a practical one. I had to go to their studio for a basic Pro Tools test that took about half an hour.

Got referred by a friend. After about two weeks, I had an HR call, and then I took an online test. I passed that and was selected for a second round with the manager. The interview process was smooth and easy, although you do have to wait for your turn.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
- What is your reason for a career change?
- Do you have flexibility in your work?
