Case Case Case

So there were 3 stages in total. The first interview was with a junior consultant, the second with a manager, and the final one was with a Senior MD. All of them were standard case interviews. The first case was a market sizing, the second was a mix of a go-to-market and creative brainstorm, and the last one was a strategy implementation case.

Technical Case Behavioral

I went through 4 interviews, all the same format. They focused on TMT knowledge, general consulting skills, communication/negotiation/client relationship skills, motivation, and fit, plus case studies. Each interview was an hour long, starting with an intro and CV review, then a case study, then questions about my motivation to join Delta Partners and consulting, and finally Q&A. The first interviewer was really nice and guided me through the case study, helping me arrive at a good answer even when I stumbled. The second interviewer, however, was cold and seemed uninterested, cutting me off mid-explanation and not being very helpful with the case study. I'm unsure if my answer was okay because I got no feedback. I didn't proceed to the third round, but honestly, I wouldn't want to work with someone like that. I also think they're looking for TMT industry knowledge, which I don't have.

Behavioral Case Presentation

The interview process included two interviews with a Consultant/Manager focusing on fit and a case study, followed by two interviews with Partners also involving case studies. The case studies typically involve market sizing, and no specific TMT knowledge is required. Strong quantitative skills are essential. The overall process is pretty standard, similar to what you'd find at other consultancies.

  • Can you walk me through a market sizing case study?
  • Is TMT knowledge required for this role?
