First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Delta Capita.
Software Engineer
I applied for a senior role and went through about three HR calls. After that, I got a take-home task which I finished. The next interview was to review that task, and then they said I'd get an offer. We talked about salary at least three times, and after some more negotiation, they offered me about 80% of what I asked for. It seems weird to offer below-average pay and expect someone to only work one job to get by. They also mentioned a lot of background checks and NDAs, so I decided it wasn't worth it.

Analyst
Delta Capita's interview process usually involves a few steps: first, an HR screening, then a meeting with senior management, and finally, a client interview. They're looking for people who can think analytically, communicate well, and understand the financial services sector. The whole thing is about seeing if you're a good cultural fit, if you can adapt, and how you handle problems in real business situations.
- Tell me what you know about PTS.
DevOps Engineer
The whole interview thing took about a month and had these parts: 1 phone call about tech stuff, 1 hands-on task, and 1 virtual interview. Honestly, it was a mess. After each step, I got no replies and had to chase them for updates. Nobody even said thanks after I sent in the hands-on task. I waited for three weeks and then suddenly they called to book the next round super fast. It was clear they didn't plan anything and weren't upfront about things. The recruiter even told me not to look anywhere else while we were doing this, which felt weird given how slow and bad their communication was. The last virtual interview was the worst. The people interviewing didn't even seem to know the job description. The questions were super basic, like for customer support or L1, not for DevOps. It felt like they were just reading questions and didn't know the tech. They wouldn't let me talk, cut me off, ignored my answers, and didn't seem to get the tech stack at all.

Financial Consultant
The whole interview thing took like four months. I had three interviews and spent a ton of time getting ready for them. I eventually got an offer, but the start date was up in the air. A month went by, and I asked again when I'd start. They said to just wait another month. After another month, I called, but no one picked up. I also emailed the senior consultants to see if I could chat, but no reply. I even dropped by their office hoping to talk to someone, but the receptionist said I needed an appointment. Honestly, they should probably rethink how they do hiring if this is how they treat people.
