First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Delray Medical Center.
Registered Nurse
First, I chatted with the recruiter. They asked about my experience and my motivation for applying. Since I'm currently out of town, my unit interview was conducted virtually. The interview panel included the director and two nurses. They asked typical behavioral and clinical questions.
- Can you describe a time you dealt with a complaint from a patient or their family?
Registered Nurse Case Manager
The interview process was smooth and seamless. I had a phone interview, and then an in-person peer panel interview. Even though panel interviews can be nerve-wracking, I appreciated that the panel made me feel comfortable while asking the tough questions!
- How would you deal with a disgruntled patient's family member?
Pharmacy Technician
I had a managerial interview and also a peer interview with some technicians and pharmacists. The peer interview was pretty good, we laughed a lot. The managers seemed kind of rigid though. I also got a tour of the pharmacy which was led by a technician.
- What experience can you offer DMC?
- Can you describe your teamwork skills?
Pharmacy Technician
It was a group interview. You'll meet with 2 pharmacists and technicians who will ask you some questions about your ability to work with others, handle stress, your schedule flexibility, and if you can work 10-hour shifts.
- What makes you the best candidate for this position?
