Behavioral Technical Case Presentation

First off, we gotta figure out what we're even looking for in this role. Like, what skills and qualities are a must-have? What kind of experience level are we talking about? And what vibe are we going for in terms of culture fit? Then, we map out how the interview will actually go down. We'll start with introductions, just to chill and chat about the company and the gig (about 5-10 mins). After that, we dive into the nitty-gritty, testing out their skills with some job-specific questions, maybe a problem-solving thing or a case study (20-30 mins). Then, we'll check out their soft skills, using those STAR method questions to see how they handled stuff in the past (15-20 mins). We'll leave some time for them to ask us questions about the company and the role (10 mins). Finally, we'll wrap it up by telling them what happens next and when they can expect to hear back (5 mins). Next, we pick the right questions. There's the general stuff like 'Tell me about yourself.' Then the technical questions, like asking them to explain how they solved a tough problem. And the behavioral questions, like asking about a time they dealt with team conflict. We'll also ask about cultural fit, like what kind of work environment makes them tick. It's good to get other people involved too, like HR or a team lead, maybe even some peers. If we need to, we can always do a second round for a deeper dive. Lastly, we gotta score them and compare. Use a system to rate their skills, experience, and answers. Jot down notes after each interview to remember their strengths and where they might be lacking.

It was tough, long, about 4 hours. They asked things about my CV and then delved into my private life. It was pleasant though.
