Behavioral Technical Presentation Other

The interview process felt pretty standard overall. They gave me a data analysis project that wasn't too hard but took a good chunk of time, and I only had 24 hours to finish it, which is tough when they expect a polished presentation. It started with a phone screen by an HR recruiter. Then came the analytics project, which I had 24 hours to complete. I had a follow-up question about the project. The recruiter passed it to the hiring manager, but I didn't hear back for 3 days, by which time I'd already submitted my work. Luckily, the recruiter was nice enough to let me revise it after I got the hiring manager's response. After the project, I had a call with the hiring manager. The recruiter then scheduled 3 more calls with people from the cross-functional team. But just 5 minutes before the second of these calls, I got an email and a call from the HR recruiter saying they weren't moving forward with my application and canceled the remaining interviews. The whole thing took about a month: a week from applying to the first call, a week for the project, and then about two more weeks until I got the rejection. The recruiter was nice enough to offer me more time to adjust my work based on the response to my question.

Behavioral Technical

It started with a recruiter call, then I got a take-home test due in 24 hours that took a couple of hours to finish and had 3 sections. After that, I had 3 interviews, each 45 minutes, spaced out throughout the day. The last interview was with the head of Ops, who cut our 45-minute meeting short to under 20 minutes. I got a rejection email the next day, and when I asked for feedback two days later, I still haven't heard back after two weeks. It was disappointing given the time invested, even for a no-feedback response. They were nice, but inconsiderate of my time.

So you start with a typical 15-20 minute phone screen. If you pass that, they send you a project to complete within 24 hours, which felt like a lot for this stage. Next up is a 45-minute interview with the hiring manager. Finally, there are three more 45-minute interviews with people from different teams. It was a pretty smooth experience overall, except for one interview where the person, Ben, was a bit abrasive and off-putting.
