So the interview process was like, first a quick call with the recruiter to screen me. Then, I had a technical interview with two people from the dev team. Finally, I met with the head of engineering. The recruiter who set it all up was really responsive and nice. Everyone I talked to was pretty chill.

Behavioral Technical

My interview experience was great. It started with a 45-minute chat with Talent Acquisition about my resume, the role, and expectations. Then, a 1-hour technical interview to check my skills and knowledge for the role, and to understand the company's tech. After that, a 45-minute interview with the Head of Integrations Engineering about team and company vision. The last step was a 1-hour talk with the CIO and VP of Engineering about strategic direction. All interviewers were open and wanted to find a good fit. The process was organized, professional, informative, and left a positive impression. They value clear communication.

The overall experience was good. The entire process was managed and communicated through the VanHack platform. Initially, there was a call with a Head of Engineering who was really nice and professional. They asked about my career journey, some behavioral questions, and general things to get a sense of who I am and my current career standing. Following that, I had a technical interview with an Engineering Lead, who was also very friendly and it was a really good chat. The last part was with another Head of Engineering, and this one focused more on behavioral stuff, like asking for a story about a success, a lesson learned from a failure, and similar things. They were also respectful and professional. I got quick feedback after every step. After the last interview, they mentioned it was a good conversation with no issues. However, I didn't get selected for the roles, and I didn't get specific feedback to help me improve for the future.
