The recruiter first reached out to set up an interview time. After we agreed, the recruiter cancelled the call 15 minutes before it was scheduled, with no explanation. I rescheduled for the next day, and the recruiter cancelled again without any reason. A few days after that, I got an email saying the role was filled. It felt like a total disregard for my time.

So the interview process had really long breaks with no contact at all, and then they ghosted me after the final interview. On the plus side, the final interview was a four-hour shadowing session where I worked with two developers to see how I'd fit. I liked the hands-on part when I did talk to people, but being left waiting for a long time and then ghosted for two and a half weeks after the final interview is super frustrating and a waste of my time. I can't tell if they're just messing with me or are genuinely ghosters, but I wanted to let others know what to expect.

I applied online, and after an initial phone interview screening, I was invited for an onsite interview. At the onsite, I first met with a vice president for a Java object-oriented round. This was followed by four more rounds. Most of these rounds focused on algorithms, and the final round was about my past school projects and work experience.
