First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Delhivery.
Software Engineer
It was 2 rounds of interviews. Round 1 was DSA questions and programming language and framework specific questions, plus one API question specific to the language. Round 2 was a design round, covering framework and application design types.
- Did you answer some DSA questions?
- Were you asked programming language and related framework specific questions?
- Were you asked about one API of the respective language?
Software Engineer
So there were like 3 rounds. First round was 1 easy + 1 medium DSA question. Second round had 2 medium DSA + 2 medium SQL query + JS concepts like async programming and promises. Third round was about explaining my internship project, and they asked some basic SQL and database overview questions.
- Can you solve a medium-difficulty binary tree problem involving post-order traversal?
Senior Software Engineer
So the HR team didn't really give me much info about what was coming up, like what kind of rounds or even a clear job description for the next step. And after the interview, they ghosted me, no replies to emails or calls when I asked for feedback. I mean, people work hard to prep, so some constructive feedback would be nice, right? The interview itself was a bust. The guy was super disrespectful and unprofessional, felt like he was trying to get in my head rather than see what I could do. The questions were okay, mostly situational, but he was super strict, wanted exact answers like he had in his head, no room for other ideas or cool ways of doing things.
- Tell me about database indexing.
- What do you know about Elasticsearch?
- How do you handle API security?
