Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Delhivery.
Manager
The interview process is pretty good and very qualitative. First, there's a take-home assignment that's quite easy and can be tackled with simple reasoning and quantitative skills. This is followed by one or two technical interviews where basic knowledge of logistics is expected. Finally, there's an interview with the head of the department to clarify basic expectations, and an HR round for salary negotiation and discussion of the joining date.
- Can you define what logistics is?
- What are your ideas on improving India's logistics transport services?
- Who are considered the main competitors of this company?
Senior Manager
I went through multiple rounds with stakeholders. They were still deciding on the role so the interviews were based on my past experience. A couple of issues I ran into: 1. Until the very last round, nobody had a clear picture of what the role actually entailed. 2. It's a 6-day work week in the corporate setting. They mention alternate Saturdays or something, but you end up working all 6 days, sometimes even more. This information wasn't shared upfront, and it only came out after the offer was released.
- Can you share some of the most challenging problems you've tackled in your career?
Management Trainee
Scheduling interviews was a bit disorganized, and it felt like a formality. There was a major miscommunication where I received a verbal offer which was later withdrawn because it was on hold. I didn't expect such unprofessional conduct from a major company in the supply chain sector. My advice is to not play with applicants' emotions.
- Can you introduce yourself?
