First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Delaware North.
Waitress
I sent my CV to the French agency International Services for a job at Walt Disney World for Patina. Step 1: Interview with a recruiter from International Services who will ask you basic questions (where you come from, how old you are, work experience, how you would represent Italy abroad). After a day, you receive an email inviting you to the next step. Step 2: Interview with the managers of the Patina restaurants in the Italian pavilion. Here too, the questions were not impossible, but honestly, passing with Mr. Uberti is practically impossible. In fact, I didn't pass the interview, though I don't understand why. Despite this, I must say he was very smiling, even if he went too deep with the questions.
- What would you do in a situation where you don't know anyone?
- Tell me your 3 strengths and 3 weaknesses.
- What do you expect from this experience?
Cook
They asked me about my cooking skills and what experience I have. Since I'm still in college, they wanted to know why I was looking at Delaware North for my first job and what I hoped to gain from working there.
- What do you hope to gain from this position?
- What are you looking to get out of this job?
Chef
The interview process was quick and smooth, involving about four rounds. Communication was efficient. I'm eager to start working and look forward to the rest of the process.
