It was a pretty standard but fast interview process. No wasted time. I spoke with HR, the hiring manager, and someone who would be my future coworker. The interviews felt more like casual chats than formal question and answer sessions.

The interview process started with a recruiter call, which was outsourced to ADP. It was an easy and straightforward conversation, not very focused on the job details. After that, I had an on-site interview with two Directors, followed by a meeting with the team I would be managing. These interviews were more direct and specific to the role. Everyone seemed friendly, but it felt like Del Monte wasn't doing too well. One Director mentioned the company's financial difficulties, which I had already suspected given the industry's challenges lately. The team also indicated that their current systems and processes were outdated. Ultimately, I didn't feel great about the position, and I think they noticed. I didn't hear back, so I followed up two weeks later, and they informed me they had chosen another candidate. It seemed like a good group of people, but the company is clearly facing some tough times.

The interview process was normal, with a mix of basic and technical questions, mostly resume-based. There was only one round, and the interviewer was decent.
