So first I had a quick 30-minute call, mostly chatting about my resume and the job itself, plus life in Manchester. Then, it was a longer video interview, about 2 hours, which is usually in person but wasn't because of COVID. This part was split into three sections: first, they went through my resume again, then we dug deep into one of my projects, focusing on the testing aspects and setup, and finally, I had some whiteboard problems. These included a riddle I'd seen before, a physics question, and designing a test case for a situation they described. It was quite a bit, but it went pretty well.

Got an initial email saying I wasn't selected, then another saying I was. The recruiter left halfway through, which caused more confusion. There was an HR screening and a one-on-one phone interview, then a four-person panel interview over Amazon Chime. Both interviews involved a lot of talking from the employees. The director interviewing didn't pay much attention and seemed busy. Big issues with the whiteboard and screen share features, which really hurt me. No standard interview questions were asked. They said I'd hear back in a week after the second interview, but I got a form email three weeks later, and it wasn't even the right form letter.
