First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Definitive Healthcare.
Product Manager
There were 3 interview rounds. The first was a chat with the recruiter, super chill. Then I spoke with the Director of Product Management, which was basically a resume review. The last round had three 1-hour interviews back-to-back, all focused on my resume and behavioral questions. They really emphasized how I build stories.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- What is your interest in Definitive?
- Walk me through your resume.
Product Manager
The interview process was good overall, but the communication from the recruiters wasn't great. I enjoyed talking with the hiring managers and learning about the job, but it was hard to get updates on next steps or interview results from the recruiters.
- Can you describe an instance where you had to teach someone a new skill?
Product Manager
A 3rd party recruiter contacted me and set up a 30-minute phone screen with the hiring manager, who was the Director of Product. The screening went well, and I moved on to the next round. The recruiter mentioned the interview would be 1 hour, but the company had actually scheduled it for 2.5 hours, and it lasted that long. I found the team to be friendly and intelligent. I didn't get a callback and they didn't follow up. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and assume the poor communication was because of the external recruiter they were using.
- Can you describe how you would balance the product roadmap with the requirements of the engineering/IT team?
