The interview process was pretty straight forward and began with an initial phone screen. Then I interviewed with the hiring manager, who asked that I put together a presentation for a group call. They gave me all the materials and access to the platform to prepare. The final interview was with the CCO. She was delightful.

I had a weird recruitment experience with Definitive Healthcare. It started with two calls with the recruiter, but they weren't really prepared and missed info. They ended up talking about their Disney trips and real estate instead of the job. Then, no follow-up at all, which was frustrating. The recruiter also gave me mixed info about who I'd report to and work with, which confused things later with the hiring manager. The second interview with the manager felt cold and distant, making it hard to connect. I used the STAR method to answer, hoping to make a good impression despite her attitude. Surprisingly, I moved on after a week. The third round, with the same manager, was different. She liked my case study presentation, saying it was clear and I knew my stuff. But even with that, I didn't get the job. The rejection was a generic email three days later, which felt impersonal and like a letdown after the case study went well.

The interview questions weren't that hard, but the whole process felt bad. The person interviewing me rescheduled twice, which was okay. But after my interview, they said they'd get back to me on Wednesday. I never heard back and instead just got an automated rejection with no explanation or feedback.
