It was a long and drawn-out interview process. Communication was spotty throughout. The organization didn't seem very nimble. I also uncovered some red flags regarding the percentage to quota attainment and realistic compensation for sales people.

I talked to a recruiter and then got passed to their new HR person who used to work at the recruiter. We had a quick zoom call but his video wasn't working. He was pretty unprofessional just setting up the meeting. During the meeting, he explained the next steps and said I'd hear back by Friday (it was Tuesday) to set up my interview with the hiring manager. It's been 10 days. I've called and emailed him a bunch, and even texted him. He hasn't even had the courtesy to send a short message or email. It's clear they don't want to move forward (which is something that never happens to me), but he could at least be professional enough to let me know. I was very unimpressed.

I spoke with their internal recruiter for the first call, and it went really well, or at least I thought it did. My background is 15 years in software sales in healthcare and 7+ years in SaaS software sales, so I met all the job requirements. The interviewer said they'd move me on, but the next week I got a generic email. It feels like these recruiters say one thing and then later decide you're not eligible even when you're qualified. Companies nowadays just interview people to keep resumes on file for later. What a waste of time for candidates!
