The interview process involved a team lead and a senior software developer. Initially, they wanted to understand my background better, including the technologies I've used, the tools I'm familiar with, and my day-to-day tasks.

Coding Technical Behavioral

It was a pretty confusing and disappointing interview experience overall. First, I had a recruiter call, then I had to do a 2-hour coding test online. The test was supposed to be a data parsing question but it was really vague and didn't have good examples, making it hard to figure out what went wrong when the test cases failed. After the online test, things got really messy. I was scheduled for interviews without them even checking if I was available. Plus, I never knew what the interviews were about or who I'd be talking to. On top of that, random people from the company would just call me up to chat, even though I'd never met them. In one of these chats, after 30 minutes of small talk, I admitted I didn't have an agenda and wasn't sure of the point. They said they had questions they wanted to ask, but they handled it poorly, saying 'we don't have time so I'll just tell you the answer' by the end. Another interview was a proper one, but the interviewer went over the scheduled time by more than 10 minutes. It all felt very disorganized, with unclear expectations. The interviewers also didn't manage their time well, either going way over or rushing their questions at the very end.

Coding Technical Behavioral

Started with a recruiter reaching out on LinkedIn. After a quick chat, they sent over an online assessment, which was a typical input parsing problem. If I passed that, I had a technical interview that mainly focused on my past work experience and the OA, plus some questions about database design and general software development practices.
