Behavioral Case Presentation

It was a really strange interview experience from the beginning to the end. They have this company value called ‘Deel Speed,’ but honestly, they didn’t seem to be in a rush at all. I had to keep pushing the process forward myself after each interview because they weren’t following up. The process had three video interviews that were pretty good and felt like casual conversations. The last part was a case study task, which was honestly the worst I've ever done. The instructions were unclear about what they actually wanted, and the scenario was about a hypothetical company nothing like Deel or the job I applied for. The interviewers seemed uninterested and just wanted to end the call. There were a lot of warning signs throughout (especially with recent news about Deel), making me feel like I avoided a bad situation.

Behavioral Presentation

The interview process was pretty standard and contains 5 steps including a few interviews and exercise and a presentation, but my experience was a bit unusual as the company already made an offer to the candidate by the time I got to the Hiring Manager interview. However, after a short break they found another role for me so I could continue the process to the end. The interviewers were nice and seemed approachable and respectful. I had a great experience speaking with everyone. Despite receiving positive feedback during the process, I was not made an offer which was somewhat disappointing.

My interview with Deel started off well but ended up being a letdown. An external recruiter first reached out to me. It was a bit tricky to set up the initial call with HR, but I eventually had a really good chat with the hiring manager. We talked about the team and the challenges, and they gave me good feedback, saying they'd get back to me quickly. But, that was it. I sent a few follow-up emails, but HR never replied, which I found really unprofessional and frustrating. It was disappointing not to hear back after such a positive conversation, and it made me feel like they didn't really respect my time or the effort I put in.
