The interview was pretty standard and not too challenging. The interviewers were welcoming and seemed genuinely interested in my previous work experience. I found the entire interview process to be quite enjoyable.

So, the interview was set up pretty well. First, I chatted with the recruiter about my background and why I wanted the job. Then, I had a technical interview where they threw some real problems at me. After that, the hiring manager and I talked about how I work with teams and stuff. Lastly, I talked to some other people on the team to see if I'd fit in. They kept me in the loop the whole time, which was cool.

I applied and got a call back the same day for a phone interview. I was able to pick the date and time. They asked me several behavioral and situational questions, which were pretty easy. The phone interviewer then scheduled an in-person interview for a few days later. The office location was a bit tricky to find, so give yourself extra time to find it if you're going to Dayton. The in-person interviewer was super friendly and engaging, and I really enjoyed that part of the process. They asked me a lot about whether the job conditions, like pay, benefits, hours, and the job itself, would be okay with me. When I asked about the timeline for a decision, they said about a week. I haven't heard back yet, but I wanted to get this info down while the questions were still fresh in my mind.

It was a standard in-person interview, but you could tell it wasn't a typical corporate environment. They brought me in without even seeing my resume. I asked what I thought were normal interview questions, but the hiring manager was really surprised I asked anything. It seemed like they operate on a train-from-the-bottom-up system.
