Behavioral Other

The interview process involved an initial interview, followed by a second one. After the second interview, I was given a PI Behavioral Assessment that I found to be very accurate. Within five days of the second interview, I was informed that another candidate had been chosen. The process was handled well, even though I didn't get the job. :)

The interview process began with a phone interview that was more formal than anticipated, though the interviewers were very nice and patient. Later, there was an in-person interview that included a 20-25 minute presentation followed by questions, a 90-minute assessment, and a quick informal chat with a team member. DRG sent clear instructions and materials for the presentation five days beforehand. The presentation required a lot of preparation, so plan for extra research. The first 45 minutes of the assessment focused on analyzing survey data, and the second half involved writing an essay chosen from three topics. The assessment was less challenging than I expected, so just relax and do your best.

Behavioral Technical Case Presentation

This was the worst interview process ever! They kept me in limbo by interviewing me multiple times and making me go through multiple rounds. Their HR was pathetic and unreachable, and finally stopped responding. Even after going through the last round, where the managing partner interviewed me, they asked me to further consider another position within a different team in their company, as they were really impressed with my skill set and found my profile to fit well into that role. I expected a follow-up from their HR for the other position. To my disappointment, their HR and even other team members stopped responding to my email. I contacted the other team’s hiring manager to further the process. The hiring manager for that team quickly arranged an interview for me with his team. However, they made me go through multiple interview rounds AGAIN. After multiple follow-ups and months of waiting they chose an internal candidate. Why waste candidate’s time when you are not serious about hiring them? I am glad I did not receive an offer to join this company. Who knows how they would have treated me once I would have joined them! Please beware of this company.

Behavioral Technical Coding

The interview took place in Toronto and lasted 3 hours. The first round was like a character interview, very relaxed, where we just chatted about my past jobs. They then had me look at a spreadsheet and analyze it. After that, the actual team members came in for the second round of interviews. Since I hadn't interviewed for this kind of role before, I felt a bit overwhelmed by the mix of in-depth questions about my hobbies and then technical questions. It was a bit strange when they asked me about my favorite cultural food. Their questions were also pretty vague, and they didn't seem to like it when I asked for clarification. I'm not sure if they were testing how I'd react under pressure in the role, but I didn't really enjoy the experience.
