The interview was conducted offline at Decathlon Sports Bengaluru. It started with a case study, followed by 3-4 rounds. Interestingly, candidates were rejected at the HR round for not participating in a sports activity with other potential teammates, even after passing the technical stages. Also, don't expect more than a 30% hike.

Behavioral Technical

I put in my application back in Jan 2021 and heard back about 5 months later for an interview. The first interview was a face-to-face one with a lot of fit/behavioral questions. They told me after that I wasn't the right fit for that role but they'd consider me for others. About a month later, I got another interview for a new role they were creating. This one was also casual with mostly fit/behavioral questions. After the second interview, they said I'd go through HR stuff the next week. But then nothing, I never heard back even after emailing them. The HR part was pretty much non-existent and the interviewers just went silent, which felt unprofessional.

Behavioral Technical

It was a three round process. First, a phone call to chat about what I do now and to lock down the interview details. Then, a technical discussion with the Data Manager and Knitting Manager. We talked about my current job, the tech and languages I use, how I work with people who aren't technical, and if I understand the production flow and if I'd go to the production floor. The last round was with HR and a Coordinator. HR asked about why I want to switch jobs and what I can bring to the company. The Coordinator hit me with more technical and AI stuff.

Confirmed questions3 questions
  • Did you go to your production floor?
  • Can you explain the whole production process?
  • How would you get your non-tech people to start using AI?
