The interview process is a typical case interview, pretty standard. It can be difficult if it's your first one, but they really just want to hear you articulate what you're doing at every single step in the process in answering the question.

Technical Case

I applied through the university's career site and got an interview on campus. The interviewer was late which was a bit odd. The interview was numerical and not like the typical consulting cases I've done before. The case was different than expected because I had to calculate numbers myself that are usually given, like revenue and customer attrition. The interviewer wasn't helpful or responsive and seemed grumpy. His phone rang multiple times, and he looked at it during the interview, which was unprofessional. He didn't try to get to know me at all. Out of all my interviews this year, this was my least favorite.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • The case was numerical, so be prepared to think quickly.

Behavioral Case

Got interviewed through on-campus recruiting. Unfortunately, I didn't make it past the first stage. It was quite strange because someone who didn't even grasp the handout they gave out actually passed. But for me and another person, who are usually good at case studies and completed it well, we failed. While there might be some subtle factors we missed, it's possible the selection process was pretty random. Just a heads-up.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • Standard behavioral questions for about 5 minutes.
  • A quantitative case study requiring analysis of a dense table.
