Coding System Design Behavioral

First, a recruiter did a regular screen asking general questions. Then, I had a coding screen with an EM, which involved a typical LeetCode-style question. The final round had a few interviews covering LeetCode-style problems, system design, and behavioral questions. It was a pretty standard SWE interview process. The interviews all went well, and they kept moving me forward. The final stage also went well. About a week later, the recruiter told me my interviews were good but they weren't hiring anymore. It felt unprofessional to go through all that for nothing.

Coding Behavioral System Design

Had a recruiter screen that wasn't very informative. Then a 1-hour coding screen which I finished in under 30 minutes. The onsite had 4 rounds: one behavioral, one coding, and two system design. The behavioral was about prioritization. The coding and system design interviews were really tough, like LC hard and Hello Interview hard, which I thought was a bit much given the company's scale. One of the system design rounds was tricky because it limited the tech stack. Honestly, anyone who passes this would get tons of other offers, probably with better pay and no RTO, but I didn't get this one.

Behavioral Coding

First, I had a call with the recruiter to go over my experience, the job, and the return-to-office policy. Then, I did a live coding session where I had to solve a Leetcode-style problem and explain its time complexity.
