Had one chat with HR, it went well. HR was friendly and the questions were simple. Just gotta pay more attention to different brand promotion schedules. Gotta know which product is on sale when.
- Can you describe your typical daily tasks?
Influencer Manager
Applied on LinkedIn, got contacted by HR a week later. Had 5 rounds of interviews, each taking an hour and requiring a lot of prep. Had to take annual leave for them. Didn't get an offer or any explanation. It felt like they weren't really hiring but fishing for ideas. Saw similar reviews from other 'influencer specialist' folks about long interviews with no offers, which is a bummer for respecting people's time. After I was rejected, the job listing, which had been up for 2 months (and after my 1 month of interviews), got its location changed from London to the US. It seemed they couldn't find the right person in the UK. I hope Dealmoon reconsiders and makes the role appealing. Also, they updated the job description with more specific requirements after the interviews, making it seem like they used candidates to figure out what they actually needed. Wouldn't recommend this company, stay away!
- The HR screening involved numerous questions, with each interview lasting 1 hour. There were 5 rounds in total.
Human Resources Generalist
The interview process was a highly structured and multistage procedure that the company uses to evaluate your skills, competencies and ability to fit in with the established team. And while the interview process may feel intense and lengthy, it provides the company with critical information about your candidacy.
- What are your salary expectations?
Account Manager
The HR rep reached out to me on LinkedIn, I didn't even apply. We had a 30-minute call. About three weeks later, I had a video interview with two team members. A couple of weeks after that, I got an assignment: create two pitch proposals. Then there was a final video interview to present them. Even though the presentation went well, I never heard back from anyone. It felt like a waste of time, especially when they ask for TWO presentations and don't even send a rejection email.
