Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at DDB.
Intern
Followed up 3 times over 3 weeks. Interviewed 3 times over 2 weeks. First with the hiring manager, then with an Acct Coordinator, then with senior team members. They offered me the position. Fit is very important, as well as being able to present yourself. Be real, don't bs or be fake. Have a conversation, not an interview! Don't ask standard questions, it's a waste of an opportunity to engage them.
- What do you believe our expectations are for this role?
Intern
Had an initial internship interview after my application was reviewed. However, upon arrival, the appointment was canceled, and I had to come back a second time. I was accepted for the internship, but then they forgot to sign the agreement, so on my first day, they weren't expecting me. I didn't have a computer or a desk.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
Intern
It was a purely informational Zoom meeting about my past experiences to understand my aptitudes and predisposition for the role. Most of the time was spent explaining the job role, what I would be responsible for, and the company's history.
- Tell me about your soft and hard skills, and discuss your past experiences.
