Technical Coding System Design

Interview process was smooth: 1st round was simple assesment on core java. 2nd round was on core Java and one design pattern: Object pool. 3rd round was one problem statement on ecommerce: design in react and springboot. After clearing all the rounds, you need to wait for indefinite amount of time for the offer. They don't hire you basically. Especially recommended if someone has 90 days notice period. For immediate joiners, it is a big no, and HR does not have any power to expedite the process. Totally waste of time.

Behavioral Technical

The hiring manager can be arrogant. Be nice and be patient. Every bank works differently, especially when they have their own set of legacy systems. If you cannot relate to what they did in another bank, that is understandable but there is no need to cause the candidate to self-doubt.

The process starts with an online application, followed by a short quiz on math and logic. If you pass, HR will contact you via email and phone for the next step: a Focus Group Discussion (FGD). You'll be given a topic for the FGD, and it's highly recommended to bring your own research and data. If you succeed in the FGD, you'll immediately proceed to your first user interview with the FGD panelists. If you pass that, you'll have a second user interview with top management. I actually failed the first user interview. I have to say, this interview process was the most enjoyable and humane I've experienced. The panelists were genuinely interested in hearing my story and why I wanted to join their company. It was a very relaxed interview compared to others I've had. The interview lasted about an hour. The downside was that I never really found out why I wasn't selected, which is typical for Indonesian interviews, and HR didn't answer my questions after the announcement.
