So I had this initial phone screening, where they asked about my background and experience. The recruiter said the hiring manager would get back to me in a few days, but it actually took like a week and a half. Then I went in for an in-person interview. When I got there, it turned out to be a group interview. They asked typical behavior-based questions like how I've dealt with difficult people, a time I failed and how I handled it, what my personal brand is, and how I react to being micro-managed. Honestly, I didn't feel like my interview went too well. Some of them were nice, but the vibe from the interviewers wasn't super welcoming. Expect a more formal interview, not really a conversation. The part that really turned me off was how I found out I didn't get the job - an automated email from HR. I get that people are busy, but an email from one of the four hiring managers would have been more professional.

Daymon really values cultural fit, so expect to go through many interviews after the initial HR screen. Be ready, because there's a lot of interviewing involved. You might have two rounds of in-person interviews since the company invests time in getting to know candidates. Depending on the specific role, you could also be interviewed by the client retailer. Don't hesitate to apply online; there's a real person reviewing applications.
