So I had this interview for a Business Analyst role, and it went like this: there were two main interview rounds, and after that, a personality assessment. The first round was just a quick phone screen with the recruiter. They asked me stuff about my resume, what I'm into, and my career plans, plus some typical behavioral questions. The next round was with the hiring manager and another dev lead. They hit me with situational questions based on my past work, pretty standard stuff. They seemed keen and said I'd meet with the director. Then, the next week, I got an email to do this assessment thing – you know, the one that checks your strengths, weaknesses, and if you're a good cultural fit. After two weeks, I nudged the recruiter, and they said they were really interested and would decide next week. Another week passed, I followed up again, and the recruiter just kept saying they needed another two weeks. A whole month went by with no update, so I just stopped expecting anything. Kinda surprising, honestly, for a company that's supposed to be one of the best places to work in Canada.

I had two phone interviews first. Then, I was given a 4-hour task to do some data analysis to show my skills. After that, I had a 30-minute call to present my analysis. Later, I went onsite for 3 hours for one-on-one interviews. They told me two months later that the job was filled. A month after that, the recruiter called about another job. I did a 45-minute phone interview, and then went onsite for 4 hours for more one-on-one interviews. I got an email a month later saying the job was on hold.

So, the interview process involved some technical questions about configuration, then some personality questions about my achievements, how I tackle tasks at work, leadership skills during harsh times, what I did at university, and also questions about my extra-curricular activities and how I handle those responsibilities.
