The interview process started with a recruiter call, then there was a technical assessment, after that I had two panel interviews with managers and peers, and it finished with a final HR discussion.

The interview process felt disorganized. The initial phone screen was brief. I had to proactively inquire about the subsequent steps after each stage. The overall process was unclear, culminating in an interview circuit day with multiple other candidates, which created an uncomfortable dynamic, especially since this wasn't communicated beforehand. The hiring manager is new to their position, and it was evident. There was a lack of follow-up and minimal clarity on what was happening. Being directed by a receptionist who also seemed unsure did not create a positive impression.

Behavioral Case

The interview process for the financial analyst position with the corporate finance team in Denver took over 3 months, and none of the five interviews were in person. They were really slow to get back to me about the hiring process status, which was pretty absurd. The hiring manager kept blaming the other hiring manager in California, and the HR rep kept promising I'd hear back in a week, which never happened; it usually took 10-14 days after each interview. This pace seems to reflect their day-to-day operations.
