I applied online and they emailed me to set up a phone interview. It was a quick 10 min call about the job, why I'm leaving my current role, and why I want to work at Davita. They then set up an in-person interview for the next week. The in-person interview was all about behavioral questions, focusing a lot on time management, juggling multiple projects, and how I work with others. The next step was a background check, and then an offer.

The initial interview seemed promising, with one interviewer being engaging and the other seemingly uninterested. The following week, I had a second interview with two different women. While one was polite, the other made me increasingly uncomfortable with her forced interaction and dismissive attitude. Despite some lighthearted moments, I left feeling uneasy. The next day, I was informed they were impressed but hired internally, which felt discouraging and a waste of my time and effort, especially given the unprofessional way I was treated. The experience made it hard to believe the company's claims of an amazing, team-oriented culture.

First I had a phone interview with HR. Then, I went to Davita for an interview with the hiring manager and three of my potential teammates. They were all very nice and asked some of the same basic interview questions I had already answered during the phone interview. After that, they started asking questions specifically about the position and how I could meet their expectations. They were also very friendly and I had a lot of time to ask questions about the job and about them. Overall, it was a good experience.
