Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at DaVita.
Analista
The process was great and aligned with the job opening. The HR representative was very friendly throughout each step, and the hiring manager for the department was also quite friendly and approachable. I really enjoyed the entire hiring process.
- Do you live in Rio de Janeiro?

The interview process started with a phone screening with HR recruiter, Amie. It was quite disheartening and unprofessional. Usually, phone screenings involve discussing the role, company, and the candidate's experience. However, Amie was asking me vague, situational data-related questions that seemed to be read directly from a script. It appeared she was just looking for specific keywords rather than genuinely listening to my responses. When I asked for clarification on a question, her response, 'what do you mean', was extremely unprofessional and tacky.
- Can you describe your usual method for processing data?
Business Analyst
I started with an HR interview, discussing DaVita's values, my reason for moving to Denver, and general cultural fit. After that, I interviewed with the hiring manager who assessed my technical skills and team-specific cultural fit. The company then flew me out for a superday, which included four interviews, lunch with team members, and straightforward SQL and Excel tests. The technical tests involved analyzing data and explaining my thought process aloud for about 20 minutes each. I received an offer about a week later and accepted it.
- Which of DaVita's values do you feel best align with your own, and why do you want to work for DaVita and in this specific role?
