The interview process was straightforward and easy. It involved one initial screener followed by a callback. The questions asked were generally easy. The interviewers were very organized, friendly, and professional. The callback interview felt much like the screener, but it could be a chance to really stand out if you're on the borderline. Ultimately, grades are the most important factor. My first-semester GPA was excellent, but my second-semester grades dropped, which was a deciding factor. My GPA went from a 3.8 to a 3.5, and I didn't attend a T14 school.

Interviews went okay, though I was a bit surprised they didn't test more compared to other firms. The interviews felt kind of easy in comparison. The main issues were their lack of consideration for people and sense of reality. They wouldn't acknowledge facts even with clear evidence during an admin issue discussion. Their offer was way below market rate and qualifications, not what you'd expect from a firm like that. Plus, they took forever to get back to me without any regard for timing, and provided no quick or clear answers. It was honestly the weirdest and most shocking process I've been through. In the end, I'm happy I didn't join. I really hope they improve their strategy and become more professional.

This is a standard process for a lateral hire, involving several interviews with partners and senior/mid associates. In law, interviews are generally conversational. Summer associate interviews are similar, with an initial OCI screener.
