First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Daversa Partners.
Executive Recruiter
I talked to everyone in the office. It was mostly just talking, but they were seeing if they liked me. It wasn't super organized, and I had to set up meetings with everyone on the team.
- Why are you interested in this role?
Associate Recruiter
I got a surprise call from the recruiter, and we chatted for about 25 minutes about the company and anything I wanted to know. After that, I was asked to come in for an in-person interview. When I got there, nobody really met me, and it felt like I was just bothering them in the middle of their day instead of being a potential hire. I spoke with the partner who might hire me, and they asked about my family and a bit about my background before I talked to another Associate who's been there about a year. Then, they let me go.
- What makes you want to work in recruiting?
Recruiter
First phone call was super basic, mostly them talking about the company and role. But then at the in person interview, they'd cut you off. I followed up about the job status and heard nothing back. It's wild because you'd think in recruiting they'd at least respond, like they get networking. It's a bummer I never got a response, even a simple 'no thanks,' because I would have recommended companies to them.
- All questions were very basic.
