It was a 2-step interview process. First, I spoke with the recruiter, then I had an assessment. After that, the GM decided if I moved forward. If I did, there was one last interview.

The first interview was a phone call with Meagen. She seemed okay at first but then became unprofessional. Weeks later, I had another phone interview with one of the General Managers. She told me the next step would be the following week, but it ended up being a long email exchange for about a month. They were always late with responses and sent lots of apologies. Eventually, I had a "day in the life" experience, which wasn't very helpful. If the "day in the life" is meant to assess someone, it should include a facility tour, shadowing, and then running a busy shift. Also, if you're going to ignore messages for weeks, at least turn off your iPhone settings. It was unprofessional how she clearly read my texts but didn't reply for weeks.

A recruiter reached out and scheduled a phone interview. She was really great! The questions were pretty standard for management roles, covering leadership style, operational volume, and experience. Then we discussed expectations, hours, and other logistical stuff. She answered all my questions easily. I had a Zoom interview with the GM a few days later, which focused more on reviewing my experience and some area-specific questions, but nothing too intense. He explained the day-to-day responsibilities and his objectives for the managers. I liked that he was transparent and encouraging rather than trying to intimidate me. My situation was a bit unique because of relocation, but the whole process took about 3 weeks.
