I applied via LinkedIn and heard back from a recruiter in under a day. First, there was a phone screen with the recruiter. After that, I had three more interviews, some in person and some over the phone, with different people at the company. The whole thing took about 6 weeks, but it could have been quicker if I'd been able to take the earlier meeting times they offered. The recruiter was super responsive and kept in touch well. Everyone I met was really nice and seemed genuinely interested in seeing if we clicked. We talked a lot about my past work and I got a good feel for the Daugherty culture.

The interview process was long, but it moved at a pretty steady pace. I got through the initial interviews, including the technical one. After I interviewed with the Managing Director, they told me they weren't going to offer me the job. They didn't even give a reason. It would have been nice to know why, especially since I made it so far.

So I had 3 interviews in total. First, a recruiter call, then a technical interview, and finally a general interview. Each one was about an hour long. Mostly behavioral questions, drawing on my past experiences. The technical part was pretty much straight out of the PMBOK best practices. You should be ready to explain some formulas, which was a bit surprising. It seems like the questions are the same regardless of experience level. Even if you're interviewing for a Program Manager role, they still ask Project Management questions. Honestly, I don't think they even know the difference. The main hiccup was scheduling; they kept pushing dates back or were slow to confirm. Overall, their communication and coordination skills are pretty lacking.
