Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Daugherty Business Solutions.
Business Analyst
First, a 30-minute face-to-face with HR where everything was pretty standard. Then, a 60-minute phone screen that was super technical for a BA role. After that, a two-part 60-minute F2F interview: first, a 30-minute Vizio simulation where they gave instructions verbally and I had to build a flowchart on the fly, testing my ability to follow directions under pressure. They even called me out for asking for a water break. Then, another 30-minute F2F with the VP, who was a bit odd and asked for 60-second highlights of every job on my resume.
- So, in conclusion... what do you have to say?
Business Analyst
The recruiter from Daugherty called me the same afternoon I applied on Glassdoor that morning. She was really nice and engaging. After that, there was a phone screen, then a face-to-face interview at the Daugherty office, followed by a phone interview with another manager. Everyone I talked to was friendly and engaging, which really made me feel good about accepting the job. I had interviewed elsewhere during my unemployment, but Daugherty felt way more comfortable.
- Can you give an example of an SQL query?
Business Analyst
The interview process started with a recruiter call, followed by interviews with a current business analyst and the engagement manager. Then, I interviewed with Jan Daugherty. Due to a pending client engagement, the recruiter kept me updated on my position's status. Once the role opened up, I was quickly moved to the final interviews, received an offer, and after starting, I was placed on my first assignment within weeks.
- Can you share details about your past work experience?
- Since you haven't been a consultant before, how would you approach representing both yourself and Daugherty professionally?
