I was contacted by a recruiter on LinkedIn and agreed to an introductory call. The recruiter's attitude was arrogant and out of touch, which was quite surprising and made for a poor first impression.

It was a fast and smooth interview process. Started with a take-home test that wasn't too hard. Then, a 1.5 hour onsite where I presented my solution and answered some product and system design questions. After that, I had another round talking to the VP and met the team for a casual lunch, which was a nice way to see the office with its cool startup vibes. Got the offer within 2 days. They kept me updated throughout the process, often replying to emails really quickly, maybe within minutes. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

System Design

It was a pretty straightforward interview process. I specifically recall a system design interview with the director of engineering. He initiated a 20-minute discussion about a supposed 65k port limitation on the server side for websockets, which actually isn't a thing. He then left early, about 30 minutes ahead of schedule, right after that discussion, which made the whole experience quite unpleasant.
